I could live in a garage. It makes getting to the car that much easier every morning. For three hundred thousand though, it better have a working window. Thanks for the links on Sealth. Reminds me of Whale. He knows more than he's saying. The following quote resonated deeply, as I believe this is becoming apparent. And when the last red man shall have perished from the earth and his memory among white men shall have become a myth, these shores shall swarm with the invisible dead of my tribe, and when your children's children shall think themselves alone in the field, the store, the shop, upon the highway or in the silence of the woods they will not be alone. In all the earth there is no place dedicated to solitude. At night, when the streets of your cities and villages shall be silent and you think them deserted, they will throng with the returning hosts that once filled and still love this beautiful land. The white man will never be alone. Let him be just and deal kindly with my people, for the dead are not altogether powerless." A very enlightening read. Thank you once again. Ashashane

i am interested in the area around where you live. are there outdoor activities, are the winters cold? There are lots of outdoor activities, but I think there are many more outdoor enthusists out west. In the Ottawa area people like to cycle and ski. Beach volleyball and ultimate frisbee are popular. In Gatineau Park, the hills are popular with cyclists, mountain bikers and in line skaters. Where I live, people like to fish and hunt as well as dirt biking, four wheeling and snowmobiling. I am a bit of an oddity here because I walk for miles, and use the woods for hiking, skiing and snow shoeing. The rare people I meet are never on foot. There are several Provincial Parks around here. Four within an hours drive. I visit them when they're closed so I am more alone, and the weather is cooler. I spend whole days just walking, and see what comes to say "Hi". Camping is VERY popular. The winters are cold and snowy. I love the winter and the snow. The woods are so peaceful, most energies are hibernating, so whatever is still hanging out is loud and clear. Sometimes it's too cold to really do too much outside, but there aren't too many days like that. (Others may disagree )is there much farmng or ranching? There is a lot of farming, but the farms are small. 200 acres is a BIG farm. Corn, soybeans and hay from what I see. Seasonal things too like pumpkin farms or berry farms. There are two farmers markets in Ottawa, and most rural communities have one once a week too. That's where the little guy is supposed to be able to sell their produce, but it's getting trendy and expensive to sell in Ottawa, which is too bad. There are several big dairy operations. There's several places to get fresh cheese. Lots of people keep horses, but they aren't in buisness. There's a farm close by owned by an ex olympian show jumper where they breed horses, and there's one down my road where they breed trotters and jockeys too apparently . I like the horses a lot. I love to go and communicate with the ones my neighbours have. They are exceptional hearts.do you like sports? I'd rather participate than watch.is there an adventure that you would like to fullfill? perhaps traveling, visiting places, climbing mountains,sailing?[/quote] There is one thing I'd really love to do, and that is to pack some camping gear, an American Express card and my dog and go on a year long adventure across this country, up into Alaska and down through the Territories. When I got back, I'd pay off the card and take the same trip through the continental US. I've been practicing, but the longest I've ever gone off alone is a couple of weeks. That's just practical to my life now though. Eventually my attachments won't be attached and I'll be able to really move. I hope I answered your curiosity, but to be fair, why don't you share a dream or two? Ashashane

yes fairness
i have been looking for some relatives of mine close to where you live.
the last i seen of them was around three hundred years ago. they were standing on a stone outcrop facing south overlooking a green meadow. they seemed to be enamored with the smoke and smell from an incense burner used in christian ceremony.

How delightful! I met two indiginous souls in the Gaspe on a recent trip. They taught me how to walk with the intention of sensing something rather than finding it. We sensed where a bear had been. Then we saw the evidence. It was quite something. I could have continued and found her if I'd wished, but I thought it was better to leave her be. I haven't met anyone around here to my knowledge. There is a blurry spirit who plays with one of my dogs, and a woodsman who I think might in fact be White Pine, and that is just how it appears to me. There are curious eyes which follow me at Charlston Lake, but I have not seen them yet. If your relatives are close by, they are welcome to come by. I feel that I am becoming more trustworthy to certain spirits of late.
This is refreshing, thank you Ashashane

Dear Ashashane, Welcome here! I am known as Deer here. I was given the name Little Deer when I was around eleven-years old by my friends who are two sisters. They are half Iroquois and half Cherokee. I regret to say I don't know what Nation/s of Iroquois they are. You and I have quite a bit in common. My late beloved husband and I ran esoteric workshops in our home. We both astral traveled, but my husband did so more than I did. There are spirits in my home, and they are friendly. They are not earth-bound. I am very firm with spirits with whom I am uncomfortable. I first nicely ask them to leave. If they don't do so, I become very firm with them. I have sent spirits who were afraid to the light. My late beloved husband and I cleansed a home located in a cemetery in Malaysia. I am a medium and a healer of pain. Quite a few people have seen a council of Native American elders around me. I know this is true, because a Flathead elder came through in one of our sessions. I would have thought of another Nation. I wouldn't have thought about a Flathead elder being around me. I have had numerous communications with loved ones who have passed to the Other Side as I have had many other esoteric experiences. Some of my other esoteric experiences include visions. Many of my visions have been confirmed by friends, and these visions have helped them. I enjoy your interesting posts and hope to hear more from you. Walk In Balance, Deer

Dear Ollan,
I am not surprised Whales know more about us than we do about them. Years ago, I purchased a book entitled "Mind In The Waters." I regret to say I cannot remember the author's name right now. It's a superb book about Cetaceans. It points out that any criteria man has to indicate humans are the most intelligent animal goes by the wayside when it comes to whales. No matter what humans use as evidence does not count as the whales are far superior in all forms of evidence. The lack of an opposible thumbs and the inability to use tools is not an indication of lack of intelligence.

Hi Theresa. Nice to meet a fellow Deer heart. Deer comes to me in journey, she is my main guide, my true self. Her name is Ashashane. Every so often, as I release more and more clutter, I will come across deer bones or deer kills when I'm hiking. Whatever piece of the deer I have gained, one of my dogs will offer to me. So far, I have the heart, both hind legs, the spine and one antler. I also saw a vision of her surrender to Coyote when I touched the remains of a kill. Quite a path! Hmm, the ghost thing... My house is FULL of them. Before I believed they were here, they used to mess around quite a lot. Then in journey, I saw that they only wanted to use a portal that the house is directly on. I gave them my blessings to carry on, but to stop moving stuff! I cleanse my house 3 or 4 times a year! They freak me out, just a little... . I like the spirits of living things much more. The plants and animals, oh, and I should include the rocks and elements and my true love, Moon. They all have such pure wisdom and love, whereas the ghosts, well I might as well listen to the guy sitting next to me at the coffee shop! Sometimes it's worth listening, other times... Please don't get me wrong, I'm talking about what you call earthbound ghosts, not the ancient ancesters who come to teach. I'm glad you had a nice visit to the Bahamas, I hope to interact with you as well. Ashashane

Hallo Ashashane
I think you know and I know why you join the village of first nations, you will do good for all of us, can't wait to hear your stories. Last year I did my class of Sociology, and I read and learn more about the First Nation during that class, I did not know lot of things about our first nation, i feel very ashame, at school they don't give any class about our first nation, and I think now it is terrible. I want to learn more, I am a nature person and may be is why I find hard to leave in Egypt. I read book about old time before the white arrive in Canada and I love it, I hope you will open yourself to us and tell us story... Cassandra
